What are some good forums for bloggers?

i just started a blog about a week ago and i really enjoy it. i've been told that in order to get people to read my blog i have to read other peoples blogs and get active in forums and stuff. what are some good forum websites for bloggers of the nerd genre? i write about random everyday tasks in a form that makes it sound like i'm a knight/warrior with a quest to complete. it's fun to write and i wish i had more readers
