What type of reptile should I get for college?

I am living in a cabin where they allow reptiles. I was wondering what type of reptile I should get that wont cost me a lot of money. I mainly have everything for a reptile as like foliage and water and feeding dishes. I would also prefer something that could live comfortably in a 10 gallon tank. But could upgrade eventually. Any suggestions would be helpful, Thanks.
